About The Role

• Perform account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Performs routine and non-routine accounting duties under general supervision.
• Develops and maintains the policies that govern the Company’s reporting process and ensures compliance with generally accepted reporting standards.
• May define the accounting system roadmap and system requirements of the future and assist or direct system programming resources in the development of accounting systems.
• Applies knowledge of accounting methods and procedures.
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
• Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
• Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Support in closing Statutory Audit and Internal Audit
• Drafting/review of tax returns and workings
• Timely filing of returns and payment of taxes (if any)
• Review of tax accruals and provisions
• Preparation and all support documents related to tax provision/ advance tax calculations for India entities and other related entities.

About You

• Minimum 3 years of related experience in Accounting / Finance in the areas of general accounting & close process.
• Key competencies include sound accounting acumen & application.
• Reasonable knowledge expected on regulatory requirements around accounting.
• Good partnership skills with a passion to learn and engage with the business.
• Other skills that are valued include effective communication & driving process efficiencies.

Job Requirements

• Corporate tax / GST experience essential
• Strong global tax compliance and advisory experience preferably in IT industry including experience in managing multiple legal entities
• Strong technical skills with effective written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, analytical and methodical with strong attention to detail
• Strong computer and technology skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel
